Schooling hammerheads & jacks – Nautilus Liveaboards Blog

Roca was just unbelievable today, it was like going to a safari. NO CURRENT AT ALL, and schools and schools and schools of fish all over the place!

Funniest thing for me was such a beautiful organization from the animals. All the schools of jack were perfectly separated by species, Black, Big Eyes, Blue Trevallys, Cotton mouths, and sharks and sharks passing through them! We saw schooling galapagos and silvertips, and some guests saw some schooling hammerheads for finishing up the blast!

But undoubtedly the best moment was having a big black manta hovering on our third dive right in front of our face!
