Socorro Welcomes Back our Guests

We couldn’t be happier to be back diving with our giant mantas and loads of sharks at Socorro! But don’t take our word for it; check out what our guests have to say!

I am really happy to be here at San Benedicto Island again with all the Hurricane Bud warning behind us, cruising almost 40 hours from La Paz. The Boiler is still great for manta diving. Every dive had 2 black mantas, 1-2 chevron oceanic mantas. Jacks still have great formations and lots of lobsters, big moray and angelfish.

The best one is a big family of dolphins!!! Baby dolphins are very curious and want to play with divers. It was fantastic!! The Canyon had few hammerhead sharks and another huge chevron manta which is at least 5 metres. Thanks to every crew members that finally come Socorro. We are here!!

A perfect end to a perfect day; roast chicken and chocolate pudding for dinner, night dive, sharks, rays, lobsters, moray. And then hot tub on deck under the stars, heaven.

The best dive trip of my 13 years of diving. Amazing staff, very professional crew, great boat, beautiful dives. Special thanks to chef Enrique for custom-made vegan dishes. Food is amazing and you will never be hungry for a minute! The trip is very well organized. Huge thanks to dive guides: Yann, Hector, Victor and Lowell, the Captain, for showing us the best of the dive spots and pointing out what is worth seeing.

Faviola and Dulce take great care of all guests from a warm welcome on the first day to assisting guests with any needs and wishes every day. First class safety standards and following strict diving safety rules, which for me is very important.

Diving is unbelievable – sea lions, many kinds of sharks, including hammerheads, giant mantas, dolphins, huge schools of tuna and, in general, the dive sites are full of life – at times you don’t know where to look. So far – everything is flawless and perfect.
THANK YOU, Nautilus team!
