On the first day we had a Whale shark on the third dive. But for me something unforgettable was on the last dive on the second day. We saw a Humpback whale with her calf passing in front of us just as we were coming up from the safety stop. How amazing to see these animals. Once in a lifetime experience!!!

The cleaning station at Canyon was on fire loads of Silvertips, massive Galapagos, Oceanic blacktip sharks and Mantas as well as a couple of Hammerheads just off the drop off! But the biggest surprise was the tigers! Three completely separate sightings at the different sites and some quite close measuring 3m+!

What a blast we’ve been having in the Socorro islands, canyon my favorite place was spectacular, school of hammerheads passing by, playful mantas, and of course the silvertips sharks getting clean, visibility was ok and the water temp was amazingly still warm for winter season, guests are really happy!

Today “El Boiler” where we saw mantas! Five at the same time! Good visibility on the first three dives and nice water temperature. On the third dive the current gave us a break and we had the chance swim further out and look for sharks. We were super lucky because we saw a tiger shark! After that we came back to the rock and four mantas were waiting for us there!

Roca Partida was fun to dive. We did four dives with excellent conditions. Warm water, 74F/24C and visibility 100ft/30m. We saw mantas on every dive! Three mantas in one of the dives at the same time. On the last dive doing the safety stop we found a big school of mobula rays! probably more than forty rays we saw.

School of hammerheads of more than 50 individuals 3 times in the same dive. At the receiver more than 30 shark were patrolling the cleaning station, Galapagos sharks, Silkies, white tips and silver tips and a few black tips. If it wasn’t enough the rock star of the island made its presence, a big female chevron arrived at the cleaning station and why not playing for few minutes with diver’s bubbles? This was only a dive in San Benedicto, all this only happened in 50 minutes!
