This is my second trip with Nautilus, Feb 2016 to the Socorros onboard the Explorer, and now, August 2017 onboard the Belle Amie to Guadalupe Island. The crew are genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. Both dive boats are well laid-out, spacious, and well-suited for both divers and underwater photographers. And both dive destinations deliver…I […]

Shipyard renovation and refit of the Nautilus Undersea continues – whoohooo! The featured photo is of the new main salon under construction that will extend aft into the old dive deck, with a separate lounge sitting area with big comfy couches on one side and dining room on the other side. Most exciting of all […]

Fantastic because if i will tell anybody at home that we did three or four dives a day and every time we were in the water we see giant mantas, dolphins, whale shark , two or three times during the dive, and when we go out of the water we see Carmen with a smile, no one will believe it. And when you are getting your gear off you look out in the blue, and you see the whale shark in the surface. Mantas in the surface and dolphins. And at night we get a great dinner and we go to bed with a great smile. -Pedro from Austria

My first dive at Cabo Pierce on Socorro Island. Almost immediately there was a huge manta, gracefully soaring overhead which stayed with us and then suddenly my divemaster pointed at a shark a hammerhead, so near. I’ve never seen one in the water before.  And then a whale shark came into view, beautiful, moving slowly […]

Have you ever wondered how they shoot aerial shots?? It helps when we have a 5 ton crane on the upper deck… Our dive deck is almost 50 feet long but even that started getting a bit tight with all the production equipment for a full-in IMAX shoot The star of the show.  One of […]
