  • Looking forward to the mantas

Guadalupe was awesome, for me a dream came true since childhood. 10 out of 12 dives we could see the Great Whites, you just can describe it really when you have seen them live, so beautiful. Those memories will stay with me forever! Isla Cedros, San Benito: plenty of sea lions, really funny to interact with them, enjoyed it a lot too! Rocas Alijos: super remote rock in the middle of nowhere, stunning really. Roca Partida: another remote location, breathtaking dropoff with incredible visibility. Every dive we could see Silkies, Galapagos, Hammerheads, and hundreds of white tip sharks resting above of each other. A real thrill was night snorkelling with nosey Silkies, which bump right into you! Looking forward to Socorro now, our last 2 dive days, to swim with the big oceanic Mantas. The boat, food and crew: the boat is great, very spacey and clean, compared to the others we have seen on the trip. The food is plenty, it’s all about sleeping, diving, eating…would have enjoyed more seafood though. The crew is super friendly, very helpful and funny. Having a great time with them. – Paul Nowak Austria

  • Sharks establishing pecking order

Had a great 3-days diving with the Nautilus Explorer, plenty of Great White and even a whale. Spent lots of time underwater, in both the surface and submersible cage. All the crew have been helpful, all the time they go out of their way to see that every thing goes well. At times, you don’t know which way to look as there are sharks all around you, trying to establish there pecking order, while everyone in the cages and on the boat are going crazy. As on all dive trips if you’re not in the water, you are eating or sleeping, and the meals are great. Thanks to all the crew for looking after us and making it a fantastic trip. – Warren Haydon, Townsville, Australia

  • Three sharks circling

What an amazing trip. From the moment we set foot on board I knew we were in good hands. The crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive through the entire experience. When we were in the water the hostesses would make sure our food was ready either early or as soon as we got out, and would be available to eat in either the wonderful dining room or top side to enjoy the weather. The divemasters ensured we were comfortable with our equipment, getting into and out of the water, and made the trip even more enjoyable out of the water by teaching us about the sharks and how to identify them. And let’s not forget about the diving experience. To put it bluntly it, it was nothing short of unforgettable. There were times when you didn’t know which way to look because there were three sharks circling in different directions. One highlight I know everyone had was experiencing a humpback in the wild. It was in that moment that I knew I had to do the Socorro trip. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime. I look forward to sailing on the Nautilus Explorer again, and I know when…

  • New great white sharks at Guadalupe

Well, what can I say these adventures in the ocean are amazing, Guadalupe island is one of the best paradises for divers in Mexico not just because the scenery and view, it’s because the life underwater. This last trip on board the Nautilus Explorer has been amazing. Shark activity has increased in this period and there’s a bunch of new sharks. I saw at least 2 almost-newborns. It’s exciting because you can tell how clean they are – no scars, no bites, no tags, and they are fast and curious. It never gets old coming to see these fantastic creatures of the sea, then the other reward its to see the guests how happy they come out of the cages. I’m proud to show them the GUADALUPE GREAT WHITE SHARKS! – Divemaster Luis M.

  • Rhett the great white, plus a humpback?

A fabulous second day just stroked us. Guest fully happy to fill up every single open spot at the cages, no stopping, just talking about how amazing was their day. Rhett the big male shark has been passing extremely close and circling the submersible cages repetitively for the length of 6 dives. Then I am underwater and the guests in my cage and the opposite cage, dive master and guests are completely absorbed by Rhett and I am the only one that saw it – but cant believe that behind the the other cage there is a HUMPBACK whale, gently cruising. After any sound possibly produced by me, finally all the others notice it.. this was something I would have never have expected to find in Guadalupe island. My first whale sighting underwater!

  • Already planning the next trip!

Fantastic experience with great crew. Will be back! – Drey, Laguna Beach, California. “Wow! I could not ask for a more amazing Guadalupe experience! The crew, accommodations food, and of course the sharks absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we woke up every detail of the day was taken care of. The crew was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience. Coming out of the cages after experiencing the whites and having someone hands you a mug of hot chocolate before jumping in the hot tub was absolutely the best! The whole crew worked as a team perfectly together. Already planning my trip to Socorro!” Best, Constance

  • The Sharks were more than you could imagine!

My first day of diving was so much more than I ever imagined it would be. I believe I have seen every shark documentary there is to see and yet nothing prepared me for the awe and beauty of these incredible animals. They moved with such grace it could make you cry. None of them swam straight for the bait, rather, they circled & observed what was going on before moving in. My diving experience is limited but I felt completely comfortable in the once I took that first step. I was so taken with these sharks I dove right through breakfast & lunch. Thankfully, without even asking, a plate was set aside for me. I can’t wait to see if the same sharks come back tomorrow! – Kim, New York, USA
