    Guadalupe was awesome, for me a dream came true since childhood. 10 out of 12 dives we could see the Great Whites, you just can describe it really when you have seen them live, so beautiful. Those memories will stay with me forever! Isla Cedros, San Benito: plenty of sea lions, really funny to interact with them, enjoyed it a lot too! Rocas Alijos: super remote rock in the middle of nowhere, stunning really. Roca Partida: another remote location, breathtaking dropoff with incredible visibility.   • This summer I dropped guests in the water with ice bergs in Alaska. Today I dropped our guests in the crystal clear waters of the pacific ocean in 12,800 feet of water and 80F.

    Yesterday we were privledged enough to have good weather to dive Rocas Alijos. For the past 3 years weather has not permitted diving at this spot and the whole crew and all of the guests were very excited to get in the water. The three rocks thrust up from from the water and stood out against the horizon, three stubby fingers in the middle of the open ocean. There is no land for 180 nautical miles from Rocas Alijos so they make quite the sight. Waves crashed from a gentle swell against the rock and we could see three tunnels…

  • Dive Day 2 exploring Alijos Rocks

    Location: Rocas Alijos, a remote oceanic volcanic pinnacle off the coast of Baja California, Mexico We found the sharp shallow pinnacle at Rocas Alijos!! Top on 30 ft and it goes straight down on a flat sand and rocky bottom at 175 ft. Impressive! For not missing it we dove down a grapple on the top.  Lots of fish, Sheepheads on the very deep. It feels like a  hammerhead area. But we did not see any until the very surface. Yellowfin Tuna passed by the area of Creol wrasse.
