What a nice dive we had here. Our guests came up super happy. After this dive, we went to the next place called las Animas for another 3 amazing dives. On all the dives we had a nice interaction with the Sea Lions and one of the groups found a large school of Hammerhead Sharks.
Read MoreOnly on the Sea of Cortez is so easy and accessible. They play, pinch, and hang around like puppies. Time flies with these wonderful interactions. All this is possible in calm, shallow, warm water and with incredible visibility. Better impossible.
Read MoreTwo dives were completed this morning at Los Islotes and guests enjoyed them very much with lots of young, playful sea lion pups surrounding the divers, also some big polarized schools of sardines, as well as snappers, groupers, and jawfish in the sand.
Read MoreTwo dives are done so far and both are very good. Some playful sea lions around, some big schools of fish, and one group saw the hammerheads on the second dive. DM Sebastian counted around 50 hammerheads. After dive 2 we went offshore about a mile and found a huge pod of bottlenose dolphins and everyone spent around 20 minutes snorkeling with them before we headed back for lunch. So, having a great day here so far.

Read MoreOn our first morning of this trip, we woke up by La Ventana bay in front of Cerralvo Island. Soon we spotted two fin whales and we were watching them from the flying bridge when suddenly we saw 5 to 10 different spouts! Our hearts started to beat faster when we saw those whales were sperm whales! A big pod of at least 20 individuals. Some adults, some young, and a few babies. It was incredible to see these whales from so close.
