Read Moreharks were on scene as soon as we started throwing bait. Within the first 30mins, we had identified 5 individuals just from the surface. And the show has continued all morning, with divers up top and down below getting amazing views of at least 4 mature adult females and two juvenile males making frequent attacks on the bait. The experience so far today has by far outweighed any negative experience from yesterday. Divers are thrilled!
Read MoreThis morning we’ve done two dives at Punta Perico of Isla Carmen, which is the farthest eastern point of the island. The conditions are really nice, some good fish life on the outer part of that reef, some bigger pelagic fish, schooling jacks, a couple of turtles around. Guests are happy.
Read MoreAction for the morning so far has been almost exactly like yesterday, with the same three sharks doing the same deep pacing. Only had two attempts to get the bait between 0630-1130. But within the last hour, we have noticed more frequent approaches and have lost about three pieces.
Read MoreEven without the constant activity of yesterday, all spirits are very high. There is fantastic energy with this group of guests. Everybody is mingling very well and enjoying the company. Cocktail hours and dinners are very lively and the guests are very appreciative of the crew. I have had comments from multiple people on how fantastic the crew is. I’m glad they see it too.
Read MoreAnd the morning did not disappoint! As soon as we started throwing bait in the morning we had sharks making approaches. More than one partial breach within the first hour or so. And for the rest of the morning, we have had a fairly constant show, with multiple sharks making leisurely passes by all cages and occasional runs at the bait.
