In both dives guests were able to see hammerheads, not schooling but close and in good numbers, mantas were friendly in the second dive, the first dive had a couple of dolphins cruising by, guests are happy with the manta interaction and we still have more dives to go.

Today first dive with a light current to the W, excellent dive on the canyon, two mantas one chevron and one black for a couple of minutes, lots of sharks everywhere, Silvertips, Galapagos, whitetips, and hammerheads, one group could see a juvenile small tiger shark and one group could see a pod of 6-7 dolphins. The second dive today was great again, two mantas were with our guests, one group could see a school of 70 + hammerheads just a little outside of the cleaning station

Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2022-03-04

Finished the trip with a great day yesterday, whale sharks in the morning and sea lions at Los Islotes in the afternoon with Baja Expeditions panga. Lots of whale sharks and lots of sea lions. Last night we had a great steak and lobster dinner then a quiet night at anchor to end the trip. The weather for the trip has been beautiful, nothing more than a light breeze and calm seas all trip.

We moved from Roca at night, arrived at San Benedicto in the morning, we went to the boiler, light current to the NE, mantas everywhere, around seven or eight mantas were there very playful with our guests, one group could see a school of 10 hammerheads.

Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea- 2022-02-28

Diving has been okay but not that all that great. The dive platform is a bit hard for some of the guests but we are bringing as many crew hands as possible to keep guests safe, first and the second dives had current running to the north, balconies full of white tip sharks and lobsters, horse eyed jacks and cottonmouths are around but not in huge numbers we like them to be, a handful of silvertip sharks and that is pretty much it, looks like the humpback whales are not around, for now, we saw them yesterday and the day before in San Benedicto.

the dives have been fun and busy five mantas in the first one then three on the second one, guests are happy and nature is giving us some love with the sea life, they have also seen a bunch of hammerheads, loads of white tip sharks and lots of more fish, the back deck a bit tricky but we have as many hands as we need to keep the dive operation safe
