Departed Cabo last night around 2030hrs and arrived in Roca Montana at the south end of Cerralvo at 0730. Did our briefings, gear set-up, and check-out dive before lunch. The dive was nice, it’s a nice easy, shallow reef. Not a lot of fish but in certain areas the divers found some schooling snapper, some zebra eels, and green morays. We also saw a manta at the surface, and one of our guests who was snorkeling got to see it while snorkeling. So it was a nice start. Now we are heading to La Reinita (carpenter rock) for our afternoon dives. Tonight we’ll head to Las Animas and spend the day there.

Recently we spotted a large group of Sperm whales. We had to stop! We got the skiffs in the water very very quickly and told the group to just grab their mask fins and snorkel and go see them.
