The first dive we did was at El Bajo de San Francisco, the seamount that is a couple of miles east of Isla San Francisco. It was a great dive and everyone really enjoyed it. Big schools of yellow snapper, some groupers, several turtles, schools of bait fish, and lots of coral.
Read MoreToday we spend the day at a dive site called Las Animas. We had an amazing day. All four dives were amazing. The sea lions were the highlight. The interaction with them was amazing. The juvenile ones were super playful. They stayed with us for all of the dives. They were playing with our bubbles. The guests were super happy.
Read MoreDid two dives this morning, both excellent with lots of turtles, around 25-30 playful sea lions surrounding them at times, schools of snapper and groupers, and octopi! Just one diver went out now for the 3rd dive.
Read MoreWe had a great day of diving today, with Josie and Cuco from BEX in the Pato Buzo helping us around Espiritu Santo Island. Today was the first day that Los Islotes opened again for the summer and there were lots of young sea lion pups, playful as always. Also some big schools of sardines. The Fang Ming had lots of fish and it was turtle central, with lots of hawksbill turtles living around the artificial reef.
Read MoreDeparted Cabo last night around 2030hrs and arrived in Roca Montana at the south end of Cerralvo at 0730. Did our briefings, gear set-up, and check-out dive before lunch. The dive was nice, it’s a nice easy, shallow reef. Not a lot of fish but in certain areas the divers found some schooling snapper, some zebra eels, and green morays. We also saw a manta at the surface, and one of our guests who was snorkeling got to see it while snorkeling. So it was a nice start. Now we are heading to La Reinita (carpenter rock) for our afternoon dives. Tonight we’ll head to Las Animas and spend the day there.
