Today Punta Toscas has been amazing, the first dive was unforgettable, around four black mantas and 2 chevrons, many silver tips and silky sharks in the area, visibility around 90 ft, and light current. For the 2nd one the mantas stayed with us and finally a school of hammerheads was there we were able to dive with them, diving conditions same as the first one just the current increase a little bit.

Today the first dive was amazing at the Boiler many mantas below the water and at the surface, dolphins arrived to say hello to all divers. The 2nd dive at the boiler was kind of calm because we encountered a manta but that was it, it stayed with us for a while, a couple of reef fish, bonitas fish, moderated current, our plan is to finish the day here at the Canyon and then prepare everything for departure tomorrow at 4 am.

The second dive so far has been really nice, lots of horse eyed jacks, cottonmouth jacks some big yellowfin tunas, some saw a handful o hammerhead sharks, the north side of the rock had some silvertip sharks, silkies, Galapagos, and then the big surprise showed up: a whale shark, guests are loving it!

Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2021-12-27

Yesterday we did the check-in in the navy base with success, and the silky snorkel after dinner. Today we start at Cabo Pearce, five friendly mantas were with the divers all the time, and the rockstars of Cabo Pearce are the dolphins, around 10-15 dolphins were with the divers. The second dive was as amazing as the first one, with mantas again, and this time no dolphins but around 100 hammerheads were seen by at least two groups. Cabo Pearce is giving us a really good trip end.

We dive yesterday the last two dives in Roca Partida, in our third dive our guests could see a school of 40 hammerheads, one chevron manta and one mobula. The last dive had the same conditions with white tip sharks, a few silvertips, and some Galapagos.
