Soon, we came across three beautiful mantas putting up a show. Two chevron females were swooping and diving around all the divers while they followed each other about. There was also a more elusive black female who made a couple of close passes but was mostly content doing her own thing out in the blue.

we got to see humpback whales, swim with a massive pod of common dolphins, and later in the afternoon be with hundreds or maybe thousands of mobula rays

As soon as we arrived, whale came to our boat and we got to interact with them. They allowed us to touch them, rub them and kiss them. This went on for about 20 minutes until they decided that they had enough of us and started swimming away.

I saw four really big yellowfin tunas swimming through a massive school of creole fish. Moreover, white-tip sharks that had been in their resting areas were now out and looking and silky sharks were wandering around in shallow waters.

They were both chevron females – one medium-sized one and one very large, the largest I have seen in my time here. We came very close to lots of silvertips sharks, Galapagos sharks, and a couple of hammerheads.
