El Canyon was incredible with the diversity including a school of hammerheads, a few juvenile silvertips, a couple of really big Galapagos sharks, some juvenile Dusky sharks, a few chevron mantas and 2 amazing tiger sharks.
A manta bigger than I could imagine stayed with us for 40 minutes, circling the group, getting as close as half a metre from us, from me.
We saw mantas every day, we saw hammerhead sharks every day and we saw dolphins on 4 out of the 5 diving days!
18 guests, 20 dives, lots of Hammerheads, Dolphins, and of course, Mantas.
Mantas, chevron and black, at least 5 at the same time. Around the two cleaning stations a pod of ten dolphins and an inquisitive hammerhead shark.
We descended right down to the cleaning stations and were greeted by a school of juvenile silvertip sharks, 2 chevron mantas, a hammerhead, and lots of cool fish.
Roca Partida is a spectacle at the moment. The first dive gave us schooling Whitetips (50+ individuals), Silvertips, Galapagos and Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks.
