We had good dives for guests with excellent weather conditions, sunny skies, three dives at the moment, first dive: divers saw some mantas they stayed with them at the end of dive, octopus, little fishes. Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea – 2022-04-06

We just had two incredible dives this morning with a pod of 20 dolphins, a tiger shark, and some mantas, guests are fascinated, and just to top that off one of the groups saw a huge school of hammerhead sharks, they say it looked like a big cloud of sharks. The weather is nice and the sea is very calm. The first dive was cloudy but now it is sunny. Mild current running N to S.

Mantas are around but they are not playing, one group saw a group of at least 20 Galapagos sharks down deep, a few hammerheads, and a big turtle. As I write there is a group of guests debating to see if what they saw was a huge galapagos or a medium size tiger shark.

We just finished the first here at Canyon and it was great, a lot of sharks around at the cleaning station including some big Galapagos, hammerheads, silver-tips, and even a tiger shark. Guests also enjoyed a friendly giant manta on their safety stop that came by to hang out for a little while.

Today first dive with a light current to the W, excellent dive on the canyon, two mantas one chevron and one black for a couple of minutes, lots of sharks everywhere, Silvertips, Galapagos, whitetips, and hammerheads, one group could see a juvenile small tiger shark and one group could see a pod of 6-7 dolphins. The second dive today was great again, two mantas were with our guests, one group could see a school of 70 + hammerheads just a little outside of the cleaning station

On the second dive we did The Canyon, no current for this dive, amazing dive in the canyon, lots of mantas getting really close to our divers, lots of shark action on the cleaning station, Galapagos, silvertips, silky sharks, and a big tiger shark, also all the guests could see lots of hammerheads everywhere. There is a humpback whale with her calf very close to the boats, on the bay, people could see them from the boat and from the skiff.
