I pulled away from the boat a tiger shark went by just two feet from the surface, then dolphins came to greet us, and as that was not enough humpback whales breached about half a mile from the boiler, the excitement was too much and diver just wanted to get in the water, luckily they saw most of it except for the whales, they say the tiger was huge, few mantas to play with, and the dolphins were everywhere.

The first dive was conducted just under the boat, in Fondeadero, guests enjoyed it a lot as it was easy, had good visibility lots to see including Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, a big tiger shark singing whales, and three mantas, black and two chevrons.

We arrived this morning at Punta Tosca and our first dive was a little bit slow, we only had one manta and one hammerhead. For the second dive action got much better, four chevrons and one black manta were playing around, two hammerheads. One group saw a tiger shark. There was a small current going to the west. We are having one more dive here and then move to the Navy base for a routine inspection.

The Last Dive of the Day Was Mantastic

The last dive of the day was mantastic. We spend one hour at 45 feet interacting with at least four different oceanic mantas. To finish this amazing day we had a snorkel session at night with silky sharks. Cannot wait for tomorrow’s dives at Cabo Pearce!

Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2022-01-21

The first two dives have been fantastic. Visibility is over 100 feet and wildlife is here to play. On dive one divers saw a large tiger shark, three mantas, and dolphins, as well as some hammerheads. Dive two had at least two friendly mantas and more tiger shark sightings. The guests are loving the topography and the calm boardings.
