We had breaches left and right, one after another. It almost seemed as though the sharks were showing off and reminding us that they can get the bait anytime they want.
There were a lot of sharks both at the surface cages and the submersible cages. Everyone was in awe of the massive females that showed up toward the end of the day.
In the submersible cages the sharks were so close to the cages that you could see their eyes looking at you when they passed by slowly.
From the cages you could see the anchor chain and we had 4 great white sharks circling the cages and the boat all day long.
Sometimes the bait would hit the water and instantly be attacked just to be thrown out again and immediately another strike, just passing and passing inches from the cages.
The sharks were going crazy! All day long we saw sharks shooting up to try to steal the bait from our wranglers.
“Rhett” and three of his friends kept circling, fast and close, until “Rhett” did a partial breach to grab the bait and came at us with jaws wide open.
