As a dive master, I have always found diving off Socorro Islands a once-in-a-lifetime experience, regardless of the number of dives I have been through with the guests. Take the case of two of our guests coming from France. Anne and Eric started diving about 7 years ago and have been diving in many different […]

Galapagos sharks passing by, Silvertips hovering and getting cleaned, and many whitetips. Massive yellowfin tunas were hunting, swimming super-fast only a few feet away from the divers.

Remember Sharknado where thousands of sharks spill over into Los Angeles and terrorize the residents? That was reel life and what we saw in Roca Partida was for real! On our first dive, we slowly made our way around the island in a calm sea. And what an experience it was! We were surrounded by […]

Isla Roca Partida! A serene and calm island above the ocean but a whirlpool of activity below the waters. Take a dive and come face-to-face with sea creatures playing or resting on the rocky sand. On the North side, you will find sharks, tunas, and other fish species gently swaying to the current and at […]

In minute 2 of the second dive, three dolphins came to check us out and were swimming “holding hands” like in courtship. A few moments later a massive school of yellowfin tunas darken our dive, and hundreds of 100 pounds […]

Yesterday we finished Cabo Pearce, third dive was very quiet, a couple of mantas were present for a few minutes and then gone in to the blue, one Galapagos and some whitetips, We are now in Roca Partida, the first dive with a light current to the N, great dive here, Roca is on fire today, lots of action on the north side with silvertips, whitetips, and Galapagos, lots of bonitos and yellowfin tunas, and the manta action was great, around five mantas were there all dive long, very friendly mantas.
