Every dive has offered us something different but most of all the Mantas. My best dive of the week was on the last day the first dive, we had everything! Mantas, Whale Sharks, at least four different types of Sharks, Dolphins (lots and lots of fish too!) all in the same view point – we have not been disappointed.

Relaxing dives & manta encounters

Some groups also got to see hammerheads alone and in small schools. A few lonely Galapagos sharks were also lurking about, very large individuals. On this trip we have gotten to see dolphins at multiple dive sites. We also have had some good manta encounters so far.

Sharks, tuna, jacks, dream-like pelagic life!

In one moment we are completely engulfed in a school of cottonmouth jacks, the next moment, black trevally and large yellowtail charge through and split the school to find a meal. And the tuna… holy mackerel, the tuna!! Yellowfin tuna so healthy, you don’t realize just how big they are until they come close and dwarf the silvertip sharks next to you. Absolute perfection!

Unforgettable Underwater Life

First dive at Roca Partida was amazing; I have never seen that amount of underwater life. We were for an hour in the blue with more sharks you can count, from various species such as Galapagos, Hammerheads, Silver/White tips and so on.
