We started at San Benedicto island on the search for hammerheads, and we succeeded. Just by the buoy receptor close by the cleaning station these great animals made their appearance. I always said we need to be patient and the animals will show.

Well, we finished this trip with excellent dives in Roca Partida.
I said many times, in my opinion Roca Partida is the best dive spot in the all tropical eastern pacific.
In addition, this trip we have had a wonderful group from Poland, France, England and Bali.
A Socorro dive trip would not be complete without at least one day diving the famous Roca Partida. Although rough around the edges sometimes, the rock always proves to be beautifully unpredictable and visually stunning.

Today was a great day at Roca Partida with loads of Hammerhead sharks and a wonderful Manta encounter. This is a unique, secluded place with much to enjoy, from Cabo Pearce to San Benedicto.

There was a school of hammerhead sharks in 80 ft of depth, and bait balls of skip jacks. To finish our day at Roca we had a great visitor: a whale shark! It was not a big one, but still impressive. Socorro did not let us down!
