Beautiful dive sites can get crazy!

Yesterday was the best dives I ever had at the dive site Canyon. It’s a beautiful dive site where we usually go on the 1st day, where we sometimes see hammerheads and mantas. But yesterday was CRAZY. 3 out of the 4 dives were were absolutely outstanding, playful dolphins, mantas, and schooling hammerheads 3 times!

Fabulous team & dive masters

The Dive Masters knowledge of all sites (Coeoiats Cannon, Roca Partida, Punta Tosca, The Boiler and Fondeadero) was invaluable. We were split into 3 dive teams that the dive masters rotated between all groups allowing them to get to know their guests on a one-to-one basis and not just by sight on the boat.

Mesmerized at San Benedicto island

Just finished our first day of dive at San Benedicto Island, we started at the Fondeadero with a couple of silkies, following by the south west point of the island called Manta Highway! Guests were mesmerized by 6 mantas gliding one after the other!

Dive Day 2-3 get even better at Roca Partida, 3 different Whale Sharks altogether, Silkies, Hammers, crazy Mantas and Mobula actions and amazing time with Tunas, will this get better? I hope so, as the only missing thing on my list is Tiger Shark and Dolphins now.

Looking into the manta’s eye

The moment that my bubbles had cleared from my entering the water I realized that I was looking into the tennis ball sized eye of a 4.5-meter Giant Manta. We hung there together motionless, studying each other. I swear that the deeper you look into a manta’s eye the deeper it looks into your soul.

A Great Visitor at Roca Partida

There was a school of hammerhead sharks in 80 ft of depth, and bait balls of skip jacks. To finish our day at Roca we had a great visitor: a whale shark! It was not a big one, but still impressive. Socorro did not let us down!
