Today we have a light current running to the north, visibility is good. There is amazing manta action today in Roca Partida, not many sharks but the manta come and go, we saw four mantas at the same time also a mobula ray is going around and around, the blue-spotted jacks were hunting after the remoras on the mobula ray, I saw two getting eaten but the last one was too fast for the jacks.

Today was an epic day of diving. The kind that makes your heart smile. On our first dive, we were greeted immediately with mobula rays, and then a beautiful giant black manta that serenaded us the majority of the dive. Amidst the activity some friendly dolphins also checked us out. It was truly breathtaking.

The diving just keeps on getting better on this trip. Just dove Roca Partida. The best way to describe it was I thought I was filming BBC’s Blue Planet. Giant and I mean HUGE tuna, rivers of jacks, bait balls forming, Galapagos sharks and white tips, tuna and jacks all interacting. Schools of white tips cruising around. Fantastic visibility, it was crazy good from start to finish!

Dive Day 2-3 get even better at Roca Partida, 3 different Whale Sharks altogether, Silkies, Hammers, crazy Mantas and Mobula actions and amazing time with Tunas, will this get better? I hope so, as the only missing thing on my list is Tiger Shark and Dolphins now.
