  • Trip Recap by Lowell

Had a wonderful season at Guadalupe. Not many people have the opportunity to come within a foot or two of a Great White shark. Countless shark encounters both above and below the water each trip. We had yellow tail, seals and yellowfin tuna alongside the Whites this year. Something special about this area of the world. We ended the Guadalupe season with large females and surprisingly a good number of males. After departing Guadalupe we turned the bow to Cedros Island, where of guests were able to enjoy and laugh with the sea lions, fur and elephant seals that line the coast of the little dove island. It’s hard not to enjoy your dive with sea lions and seals. The pups would gather together at the surface and stare at the divers while blowing bubbles. Underneath we had the pups doing their acrobatic moves as they twisted and looped through out everyone. • Incredibly blue Cedros & San Benito

Cedros and San Benitos were fantastic!!! Its hard to imagine how beautiful that place gets when you get such a blue water; the visibility reached about 30m and even though there wasn’t much kelp, the scenario was still unreal. At Cedros we had the best sea lion action, as usual, they are really, really playful. And at San Benito we could explore more of the island this time, the conditions were perfect, and I can say for sure that was one of the best dives I ever had. We are now arriving in Roca Partida for a good start to another Socorro season! – Divemaster Felipe

  • Sea Lion Bites

After the dives in Cedros Island & San Benito, the guest are really happy. The dives were fantastic, I have been diving with sea lions during the last 15 years, and always is fun share the water with them, they are so playful, biting my hand and the head of the other divers, the fins, and making bubbles in front of the divers, sometimes only watching face to face with his big black eyes. – Divemaster Arturo
