Roca saved the best for last with a 12 metre whale shark, along with a manta in one of the dives. Simply unbelievable. When we turned around the corner, schools of Galapagos was covering the bottom blue of Roca Partida!

Visibility of an easy 100ft of blue water and a couple of dolphins were sitting vertical, getting cleaned by the Clarion Angelfish but they didn’t get too close to us this time, but the mantas did! We are still trying to ID them but I estimate we had around 10 different mantas around us throughout the day, staying with the divers through the whole 3 dives.

The magnificent mantas graced us with their presence at the Boiler, and at a really close distance too! There were lots of white tip reef sharks and some silver tips as well.

Boiler has been good so far with a pod of dolphins around the divers and mantas just at once. A humpback whale was jumping out of water about four or five times, showing us how big they can be. The water temperature is 74F, mild current to strong in most of the dive sites, visibility 60 to 70 ft. Another great dive!

Yesterday was the best dives I ever had at the dive site Canyon. It’s a beautiful dive site where we usually go on the 1st day, where we sometimes see hammerheads and mantas. But yesterday was CRAZY. 3 out of the 4 dives were were absolutely outstanding, playful dolphins, mantas, and schooling hammerheads 3 times!

We were split into 3 dive teams that the dive masters rotated between all groups allowing them to get to know their guests on a one-to-one basis and not just by sight on the boat.

On almost every dive, we encountered friendly giants mantas, massive tunas, and on 3 dives, the biggest fish of the ocean: a whale shark. Some of us were lucky enough to witness the few hours before birth of a baby dolphin, a couple of divers got the privilege to see the healthy baby 4 days later.
